The bike ride to village (a little over two miles) was nice and we did it everyday, taking a different path each time to find the “easiest route” for the kids. Rooms were neat and clean, beds were comfortable, and even though no AC, the fans kept the house cool. We very rarely hung out inside, but when we did, kitchen was perfect for cooking needs and had all supplies needed. We used the hot tub multiple times each day, which was cleaned before our visit (added plus!). We would visit this house again and plan to look into it for our next stay at Sunriver. Host was responsive via text multiple times when I had a ? Or needed to communicate. Thanks for sharing your space with us. We wanted SHARC passes, bikes and a hot tub. The home did not disappoint. It was in a lovely wooded setting, with a well-equipped kitchen and fenced - off spa. Plenty of utensils, cookware, plates, etc, a spice rack, even coffee, extra linens, pool towels, and a washer and dryer with a container of Tide. Everything was late 80's style, but clean and in good working order, some CRT TV's. Plenty of parking in garage and driveway. The Cascara host was responsive to questions I had before booking and afterwards. Just as we arrived, we noticed that the key code was missing from the “your home is ready” text, but it was resolved within 15 min with a phone call to Cascara. One note: it seems the home was designed for 6 and expanded to 8 guests with the addition of 2 twin air beds, that need to be placed in the living room. Fine for kids/teens. We got exactly what we expected. Host was very responsive. Would come again. Our extended family has stayed in this home twice now, and it's just wonderful!

"11/01/2017--updated_date-- We love how quiet it is here on the north side of Sunriver, and how close it is to the North store (a short bike ride/walk away). It's not that far to bike to the river, either, and the new paved bike path up to the Lava Butte is nearby. The home's layout is great for our kids with children because they can go to bed upstairs, while the adults enjoy the downstairs for games, etc. The hot tub is just a great bonus, and the master bedroom/bath is luxurious. We're glad the owners share it!

"We had great fun at the Mudslingers event. We walked and biked a lot and relaxed in the hot tub. The weather was better than expected for this time of year. We didn't see any deer this time unfortunately but maybe next time.

"The kids found the hot tub perfect, and enjoyed both feeding the chipmunks and watching the deer (two fawns!) browsing in the back yard. The bicycles were much appreciated -- especially the tandem. A great spot for a relaxing visit.

"Worked OK for a couple of families. Well equipped in kitchen. Good selection of bicycles in good working order. Patio furniture needs updating - currently all plastic chairs. Need at least one umbrella on the patio as in gets direct afternoon sun. Otherwise, it met our needs very well

"Close to Bend via Hwy 97 for great restaurants and the village.House has great accomodations and amenities to satisfy the outdoors people and non active people looking for rest and relaxation on their vacation. Highly recommend during all seasons of the year. River rafting, bike rides, swimming and tennis are all available.
