Some popular guest activities while staying at The Cabin at River Pines:

• Take a quick bike ride to the Marina on the Deschutes and go for a swim
• Sip hot cocoa in the hot tub after a long day playing in the snow on Mt. Bachelor
• Toast marshmallows by the fire pit
• Spend the afternoon shopping and dining in Sunriver Village, then escape the crowds and return to the quiet cabin
• Take the kayaks or canoe up to one of the many amazing lakes nearby
• Take a leisurely tube float down the scenic Deschutes River

The kids will stay busy with all the games both inside and out, puzzles, books, DVDs, Foosball, off-street basketball hoop and ping-pong. Take a bike ride through the quiet neighborhood on one of the many bikes we provide. There’s a private marina just a short bike ride away, four Deschutes River access points (one of which is a 3 minute walk from the cabin) and a 40 acre riverfront nature park with walking trails nearby.

The large circular driveway has ample space for your boat, RV, Snowmobiles, or ATV’s, making this log home a great base camp for all your Central Oregon Adventures. Just 5 minutes away is glacier-fed Fall River, which is world renowned for its stellar fly fishing and beautiful Falls that are a short 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot. Golf, shop, swim, dine and play in Sunriver less than 10 minutes from your front door step. Less than an hour’s drive gets you to all of the popular lakes in the Cascade range (Crescent, Cultus, Odell, Crane Prairie, Twin Lakes, Elk, Waldo, Lava, Wickiup to name a few). Mt. Bachelor is an easy 25 minute drive for some of the best skiing in the Pacific Northwest. This home is ideally located to take advantage of all that Central Oregon has to offer!

Our cabin features Air conditioning, high-speed fiber internet, five HDTV’s featuring Roku and Sling TV, and a front load washer and dryer. The four bedrooms feature: King (up), Second King (up), King (down), 2 Sets of Twin Bunks (down). 

Sleep in luxury!  All seven beds have been upgraded to comfortable memory foam mattresses.

The kitchen is well stocked for home cooked meals, featuring stainless steel appliances, coffee pot and grinder, blender, crock pot, waffle iron, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The large dining table seats 10 comfortably for group meals and games.

We love our dogs and yours too! There is an additional pet fee so please let us know if your dog(s) will be vacationing with you.
