Private riverfront home located in small, quiet neighborhood south of Sunriver. The entire home has been newly decorated and completely refurnished with wonderful MCM touches throughout. When you walk in the door, you’ll be greeted with the relaxing western view of the Deschutes River with the Cascade foothills and Mt. Bachelor in the background. You’ll find a large, well-equipped kitchen, woodstove in the living room (firewood included), board games for everyone, 2 1⁄2 baths, washer/dryer and a large double garage. The house is appointed with all new furnishings, including leather couch and love seat in the living room, natural slab coffee and dining tables, all new memory foam beds, big screen TV, high speed Starlink WIFI internet and the house overall is in top condition. If you’re traveling by RV, a covered RV area with water and power is there for your use.

Outside there's a large deck with incredible territorial, water and mountain views. A combination charcoal/gas BBQ is provided for your enjoyment . A steaming hot tub overlooks the sunsets and beautiful western views. There's a fully fenced yard for the kids and dogs as well.

Just beyond the waterway leading to the big Deschutes river (waterway is dry in winter months) is the balance of the two acres the home is situated on. It is not possible to cross the waterway during these months but access to that portion of the property can be gained by walking a short distance south on the road and hiking overland. There you will find the river frontage and many acres of wild land (several parcels owned by the neighbors, and all share...please be considerate), usually teaming with all manner of wildlife. Exploring right on the riverbank will call your name. The “island” is frequented by deer, elk, otter, maybe the occasional beaver and birds of every stripe, large and small, including geese, blue heron, ducks, turkey vultures and eagles.

The home is 15 minutes south of Sunriver. The town of Lapine is about 10 minutes away for groceries, supplies, services, dining and more. Just around the corner is Lapine State park, with excellent trails and scenic vistas along the river. Mt. Bachelor, Hoodoo and Willamette ski areas are all within driving distance and snowmobile heaven awaits in the Paulina Peak area, just down the road. Snowmobile rentals are available in the area. Legendary fly fishing in the Fall river is minutes away to the north and west.

House features by room:
Living:
A comfortable leather couch and love seat for relaxing, a wood fireplace for warmth and ambiance, a large Smart TV. The windows give a wonderful view to the West with Mt. Bachelor in plain sight.

Dining:
Between the kitchen and living, the beautiful wood dining table seats 6 right next to two windows for plenty of natural light.

Kitchen:
The large, well-equipped kitchen has plenty of storage in the classic oak cabinets, a glass top stove, built-in oven, dishwasher, trash compactor and tons of counter space, including a great prep area with pass through to the living room. Ample utensils, dishware, glassware pots and pans are provided with every need in mind, including coffee grinder and dual duty coffee maker (pods and drip).

Beyond the Kitchen:
Just past the kitchen is the laundry room with full size wash/dryer and a quarter bath with toilet. The Laundry Room has a utility sink and access to the two-car garage where you'll find the Life Jackets for the kayaks. Parking in the garage is allowed as well.

Bedroom 1:
The Primary bedroom has a King bed, an attached En Suite, and an incredible view of Mt. Bachelor. Two nightstands with lamps for reading finish off the bedroom while the private bath houses a walk-in closet, Shower/Tub combo, toilet and single sink.

Bedroom 2:
The second bedroom has a Queen Bed and two tables with lamps and a vanity mirror. The East facing window brings in morning light.

Bedroom 3:
The third bedroom is themed in a camping motif with two metal-framed double beds, each with a night stand. There's a large Smart Tv as well. Between Bedrooms 2 and 3 is a full bath with Shower/Tub combo.

Garage:
The garage is accessible off the Laundry room and features garage openers and access to the side/back yards. You'll find life jackets and yard games in there as well.

Outside:
On the spacious deck, enjoy a view of the “island” (which is actually a peninsula), wildlife, Mt. Bachelor and Pistol Butte. There's the hot tub and gas BBQ,. The home also has covered RV parking with water and power.

The home is 5 minutes from La Pine State park, with excellent trails and vistas along the river. Mt. Bachelor, Hoodoo and Willamette ski areas are all just a short drive and snowmobile heaven awaits in the Paulina Peak area, just down the road. Snowmobile rentals are available in the area. The town of La Pine is a short drive, for groceries, dining and supplies. Sunriver resort is about 15 minutes to the north.
