Cinder 8 Ratings
Stayed at Cinder 8 for 7 nights. Seven of us total stayed at the house. Very comfortable beds..we all slept great! Plenty of dishes, silverware. Older kitchen appliances, but they all worked fine. The gas fireplace wasn’t working when we arrived, but they sent someone out immediately to get it working. We did have problems with it later on and informed Cascara. The keys did not fit the hot tub lock, and waited around most of the day before that got taken care of, as there was a mix up on which house had the problem. We sure enjoyed it after that! Nice house, great location as it is very quiet.
I needed an interim home after selling my residence. The ladies at Cascara found me one and made sure I had everything I needed. Thanks for an enjoyable, quiet stay. The comfy beds were lovely after long walks thru the woods with my dogs. Thanks to the man who came by to plow the snow from my driveway, keep the hot tub clean and helped when I locked myself out. :-)
Dog friendly, lots of walking trails, nice fireplace, warm and enjoyable.
Everything went very smoothly -- well done.
Great, comfortable place. Plenty spacious, nice deck & love the location. Nice amenities, but just personal preferences, we like a more "cabin-y" feel when in SR; some of the decor & appliances, while in fine shape, are a little dated and the color scheme a little light (a lot of light carpet which is hard with kids & the lifestyle of SR; more hardwood/updated floors would be great). Also really missed having SHARC passes included! That was always an appreciated perk of Sunray (now Cascara) houses. But overall a comfy place and great stay, as always, and good service from the agency.
We love staying at Cinder 8. We are return customers. Unfortunately we will have to consider staying at another rental due to no Shark Pool
access with Cinder 8. We also found out the hard way we couldn't use the North Pool either. My husband and I paid $50.00 for just the 2 of us to use the Shark Pool for 4 hours and it was wall to wall people. We have enjoyed using the North Pool in the past. We happily paid the fee to use the North Pool. This house we love but we also come for the amenities and since this house has fewer Sunriver amenities now we will need to find another home with pool access included in the price. Very nice! great price, house beautiful, in excellent shape. We normally stay closer to the river, so we were away from that, but overall we had a great time. The only down side was the bikes were not in good shape and had to rent 4, which is an added expense.
WE had a great experience--Cascara did a great job preparing us for the visit and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was great, clean, well stocked and very accommodating for our group. It was a hot weekend but the fans in every closet made it cool enough to sleep and enjoy!
We had a great time, house clean and ccomfortable. Hot tub is excellent!
The house was just fine for the two of us. It's in a quiet location.
Overall a nice place. The living room and master bedroom are spacious and nice. The kitchen has plenty of extras and is efficient. I couldn't get the gas grill to light. The bicycles were not really for senior citizens, so we only had one short ride. No air conditioning was a problem during the 90 degree days.
The home was very clean with an open & light feeling. Great location and nicely done. We will certainly be back!
