We also love a great party in the snow as long as there’s a fire pit. In the heart of winter, when Mt. Washington Drive, between Skyliners and Shevlin Park Roads, will come alive, as we utilize art, food, spirits, music, and family-oriented activities to usher in Spring!

14th, 2016 —Pole Pedal Paddle: Bend’s renowned relay race with six legs that include alpine skiing/snowboarding, cross-country skiing, biking, running, canoe/kayaking and sprinting to the finish! You can do it all yourself or be part of team (or pair). We invite you to take part in the festivities and enjoy Central Oregon.

TBD, 2016 —Kids’ Day in May: The annual Kids’ Day in May event brings a day full of fun and games to The Village at Sunriver.

TBD, 2016 —Dogs’ Day: Dog Day in May is a popular event with local and traveling dogs, and their human companions. Start the day with the Bark for Life 5k Dog Walk/Run; then join the canine festivities at the Village, including dog related entertainment and contest. Don’t forget to pamper your dog with a doggy pet-icure. Numerous dog related vendors will be on hand offering a range of canine products and services. The Humane Society of Central Oregon will offer adoptions so families can bring home a new companion.

7th – 12th, 2016 —Sisters’ Rodeo: Dubbed the Biggest Little Show in the World, 2014 brings the 74th annual Rodeo! Experience the heart of our High Desert “Country” with the PRCA Rodeo in Sisters!

17th – 19st, 2016 —Bite of Bend: The Bite of Bend is Central Oregon’s largest food festival, celebrating the region’s unique cuisine and culture. This event is free to the public and includes activities for the whole family. Festival favorites include the live Top Chef competition, a rocking Music Stage, beer garden, the 5th Annual Beer Run, a dynamic and interactive children’s area, and of course the Marketplace, featuring “bites” from local restaurants and chefs. Also in this year’s lineup, the Annual Bite Week, featuring 8 days of unique food demonstrations, dinners, classes and cocktail experiences lead by Oregon’s top culinary stars!

TBD 2016, Sunriver Home and Garden Show: Join us for the 2015 Sunriver Home & Garden show being held in the Village at Sunriver. The Village will be filled with trade representatives covering, gardening, landscaping, decor, home improvement, and more. Thinking about updating your yard or getting your home or rental ready for the season, then this is the show for you.

In addition, there will be entertainment for the kids and great restaurants in the Village. Bring the family for a fun, free outing! Rain or show, it will be a great time!

24th – 26th, 2016 –-Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival: The 18th Annual PACIFIC CREST Weekend Sports Festival will be held June 24-26th, 2016 in Sunriver, Oregon. Each year, during the last weekend in June, athletes, with their family and friends, converge on beautiful Central Oregon to take part in the Pacific Crest Sports Festival. Pacific Crest is known as the jewel of multisport events in the Northwest and it has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation as well as from across the globe. The Pacific Crest Weekend begins Friday morning, with the competition and celebration continuing into Sunday afternoon. The weekend includes a Sports & Fitness Expo, great food, the Deschutes Brewery Beer Garden, live entertainment, fun, camaraderie, and to top it off, some of the best competitive racing you will find in the country. Plus, we’ve invited popular international band Hit Machine to Rock the Village both Friday and Saturday.

3rd, 2016 –-Sisters Quilt Walk at The Old Mill: The Quilt Walk is a self guided walking tour of quilts on display in the Old Mill District. Twenty shops and restaurants in the Old Mill District will showcase quilts made by talented Central Oregon quilters. TBD, 2016 —Cascade Cycling Classic: It is the longest consecutively run elite stage race in the country and has attracted most of North America’s top cyclists and teams over the years. The quality of the race courses, the beauty of Central Oregon and the fun atmosphere of the race has made it a perennial favorite and has the competitors returning year after year.

TBD, 2016Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival: The RBC Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival brings families, visitors and businesses together in a community celebration that has something for every generation and demographic to enjoy. Enjoy the picturesque balloon launches on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings at sunrise, weather permitting. On Friday night at dusk, festival-goers are invited to experience NightGlow, when each balloon is lit up, weather permitting. The Children’s Festival runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-2pm on Sunday with over 60 activities including bouncy houses, face painting, crafts and educational opportunities.

TBD, 2016Sunriver Classic Car Show: The 2nd Annual Sunriver Antique and Classic Car Show is returning to the Village at Sunriver in 2016.

TBD, 2016 –-Sunriver Fall Festival: You are cordially invited to a Showcase of Golf, Wine, and Cheese presented by Sunriver Resort. The Showcase will feature the Crosswater Invitational, an 18 hole golf tournament on the private, Crosswater course recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Top 100 Greatest Courses in America”. The four person shamble golf tournament will be a 10:00am shotgun start with awards presented at the evening Wine & Cheese Showcase at the Homestead at Sunriver Resort. The Wine & Cheese Showcase will feature over a hundred wines, dozens of gourmet cheeses, scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and specialty foods, a silent auction, and live music. Proceeds will benefit the Newberry Habitat for Humanity to build housing and help families escape from unsafe and unhealthy living conditions.

Beer lovers can come down and meet the folks behind the breweries that make their favorite beer, discover new breweries, and sample some pretty amazing beer. Over 60 breweries, 3 days, and more ounces of beer and cider than one can count!

TBD, 2016 —Little Woody Barrel Aged Brew Fest: The Little Woody Barrel Aged Brew Fest was created to commemorate one of Central Oregon’s cultural hallmarks – craft beers. This is a festival for beer lovers and connoisseurs alike! In the past, brewers served beer that had been aged in oaken casks. Once again, brewers are turning to these historic techniques in order to add depth of flavor to their brews. The Little Woody celebrates this ancient brewing technique as adapted by American craft brewers, featuring beers aged in wine barrels, whiskey barrels and oak barrels, which uniquely flavors and intensifies the beer.

The two-day event will showcase 16 Oregon-based wines, music and vendors featuring boutique chocolates, cheeses and more. There will be a few other surprises throughout the weekend. A performance by High Street band will take place Sept. 12 at 5pm in the SHARC amphitheater. Attendance is free with wine event admission or a $5 cover charge to non-wine event participants.

TBD, 2016 –-Pacific Amateur Golf Classic: The Lithia Pacific Amateur Golf Classic, brought to you by the Central Oregon Visitors Association, is the driving force for championship-caliber amateur golf in the West. In 2014, this prestigious annual event will celebrate its 19th year. The three-day, net, stroke-play tournament takes place on some of the finest golf courses in Central Oregon and offers divisions for golfers of every skill level including: the Open/Gross Division for golfers looking to play without handicaps, multiple Competitive Net Divisions separated by age (Men, Senior Men, Mid-Senior, Super Senior, Women and Senior Women) and the Non-competitive Division for the golfer looking for all of the great fun of the PacAm but with the allowance of the occasional foot wedge.

2nd-4th, 2015 —Bend Fall Festival: As fall gracefully eases its way onto the scene and provides a time to harvest and give thanks, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a community gathering. The Bank of the Cascades Bend Fall Festival, presented by The Source Weekly brings a celebration of all things fall to downtown Bend. Fall-themed activities including contests, music, art, and food that will thrill attendees of all ages.

8th-11th, 2015Bend Film Festival: BendFilm celebrates the brave voice of independent cinema through films, lectures and education. This is the Festivls’ 11th year! The movies are shown on screens across Bend. Friday and Saturday are film showing days and Sunday brings out the red carpet with the awards.

31st-Nov,1, 2015 –-Bend Cyclocross: The legendary Halloween Cyclocross Crusade race is back for the third year, and will again take place at Deschutes Brewery in the Old Mill District on October 31st-November 1st, 2015. Witness the fun and mayhem of over 1,000 cyclocross racers donning costumes and competing for Cross Crusade points. In addition to two days of epic racing, attendees will enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the Deschutes Brewery beer garden, live music, and cultural food and festivities.

Choose from fused-glass ornaments, night lights or a hand-painted ceramic mug worthy of Mrs. Claus’ Hot Cocoa and perfect for any holiday gift or keepsake. Santa’s Workshop is located in the Yurt between Fort Funnigan and the Bike Barn and is only open during craft sessions. *Please allow 30 – 45 minutes to complete your masterpiece as the workshop closes promptly at 5pm to allow for additional programs. Gingerbread houses will be on display in the Abbot Room of the Sunriver Resort Lodge.
