SNOWMOBILE EXCURSIONS

Ready to explore the mountain winter wonderlands of central Oregon? This four-hour snowmobile tour includes a stop at Elk Lake Resort. Trips depart daily from the Wanoga Sno-Park.

Cost: $170 per driver and $70 per passenger; must be six years old or older. Two-hour and Sunset Tours are also available.

GINGERBREAD COOKIE DECORATING

Gingerbread cookies without all the prep work or mess? Yes, please! The resort’s pastry chef will provide the cookies and icing, and all the kids have to do is decorate to their heart’s content. Cost: $5 for two cookies.

21st ANNUAL GINGERBREAD JUNCTION

Dec. 2-Jan. 1

Have fun building an amazing gingerbread house while helping Habitat for Humanity of La Pine Sunriver! Sunriver Resort will match donations for the gingerbread houses, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500. INDOOR BLACK LIGHT GOLF

Just because it’s dark doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a little golf! This popular event will keep you “glowing” this holiday season, using flashing or rechargeable glow golf balls and the indoor black light putting course. Cost: $11 per person.

The night will start off with sweet games like Candy Land and Candy Cane Hunt. Next will be a field trip to Gingerbread Junction for inspiration! Finally, back at the Fort, the kids will be equipped with everything they need to create mini gingerbread houses.

Kids will love a night full of indoor snowmen, indoor snowball fights, and some special snow dough crafts, including some they can eat, not to mention a surprise visit from Frosty the Snowman!

Kids can wear their jammies for the ultimate pajama party! Includes sleeping bag races, pillow fights, games, hand-stuffing a holiday animal from the Bear Factory™, and making banana splits.

It’s a frozen-themed party! The kids will be making frozen slime, snow paint, and custom snow globes. Then they’ll get to play freeze tag and drink frozen snowball punch!

The kids will get ready for an elf visit by creating elf snacks, reading elf stories, and playing elf games. They’ll also get to design an elf tree-trimming creation and be fitted with their very own elf hat!

FORT FUNNIGAN POLICIES: Sunriver Resort has a great environment for kids ages 3-10 (must be fully potty trained). Staff hold first-aid and CPR certifications and food-handlers’ licenses and have had criminal background checks.
